Feel Free to Feel Fit!

Are you searching for a fun activity that doesn't cost a bundle?  Come together with your family and friends for free swimming at all City pools!

The program resumes on September 10 until December 19, 2010.

Gatchell Pool Saturdays - 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre Fridays - 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Nickel District Pool Fridays - 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Onaping Falls Pool Saturdays - 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
R.G. Dow Pool Sundays - 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Free transportation on Greater Sudbury Transit will be provided to each participant upon request after each free swim.

Please Note: All pools will be closed on Good Friday, Easter, Victoria Day, Canada Day, and Civic Holiday.

Children aged 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult (16 years of age or older) and must remain within arm's reach of that adult.

 Pool Rental Information

All pool rentals include two (2) lifeguards. All pool rentals require evidence of insurance in accordance with the City's insurance policy.

Gatchell, Dow, Nickel District, Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre: per occasion - 50 minutes, $106.19

Onaping Pool: per occasion - 50 minutes, $54.87.

Public Swimming Fees & Schedule

• Adult: 16 years to 54 years
• Student/Child: 15 years and younger
• Senior: 55 years and over
• The 3 month pass is not available at the Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre or Onaping Swimming Pool.
• Students must show a valid student card

Holiday Closures

All City of Greater Sudbury Swimming Pools will be closed for the following holidays unless otherwise stated:

• April 2, Good Friday
• April 5, Easter Monday
• May 24, Victoria Day
• July 1, Canada Day
• August 2, Civic Holiday
• September 6, Labour Day
• October 11, Thanksgiving

*Onaping Falls Pool public swims will commence on August 31st.
