Clerk's Services oversees and manages a variety of administrative and legislative functions for the corporation. The office works closely with elected officials, City departments, other levels of government and the public. The City Clerk runs municipal elections, maintains the assessment roll of voters, issues marriage licences, birth registrations, burial permits and information on various life events.

The office also provides council support, maintains and archives corporate records and is responsible for the mailing and distribution needs for the City.
